As I sit and read the rough drafts, and then final drafts of the essays that will be a part of the first issue of Grounded, I’m in awe. To see so clearly into the raw hearts of people I know is such an honor and a privilege. And frankly one that I did not anticipate.
Months ago, when my wife and I were kicking around the idea of starting a magazine to inspire and encourage parents, I never envisioned that I would be blessed by such honest and frank writers and contributors. From the first moment that we decided that we were actually going to follow through and publish this magazine to the times when it seemed like we were just throwing time and energy at a project that would never see the light of day, I’ve been very excited about Grounded.
As we approach our late September launch date, I couldn’t be more pleased with the process thus far. Working with my wife on this project has been exhilarating, tense, learning experience that above all, has been beautiful. If you’re a parent, or know any parents who would be interested, please check out the web site and get signed up for our newsletter where we’ll be announcing all of the details of the launch.
