Vigilanteweb as a company was born in 2002, but the concept and ethos date back to 1999.
A vigilante is someone who takes matters into her own hands and seeks to act justly. I don’t believe that all the folks that create the sites and content on the internet have acted justly. I think that quality, in craft and content, is what can, has and will make the internet such a powerful medium.
When the web is poorly crafted, or content is created carelessly, the collective resource that we have, in the web, is diminished. This company exists to do our small part in making sure that the web is created with craftsmanship and care.
